The Finance Fix

  • Project: Suburban Family New Build

  • The Problem: The bank rejected a builder’s written estimate due to very low provisional sums for foundations and earthworks and wastewater system, too many exclusions and the lack of a fixed price contract..

  • The Solution: We arranged the plans and site-specific reports to be able to provide a verified Project Audit, outlining the risk levels thus eliminating the bank's lending risk. The client then went back to the builder and obtained a full fixed price quotation, 3% below the HelpMeBuild provisional total, which was then approved by the bank without delay.

  • The Saving: Secured 100% bank finance approval and stopped a potential mid-build loan shortfall.

Bank Approved

"We were pulling our hair out trying to get the bank to accept a vague estimate. HelpMeBuild audited our project, we went ahead with the documentation package and gave the bank the verified figures they demanded. Finance approved. Absolute lifesavers." - Sarah & Tom W.
