Kitset Solutions

Flexible, customisable, and affordable home building

If you're seeking flexibility and affordability in designing and constructing your new home to your specific requirements, our Kitset Solutions are the ultimate answer.

Our Complete Building Material Supply packages (often called Kitset, DIY, Prefab or Flat-pack homes - but offering so much more!) are a revolutionary way to build. When paired with our optional Construction Partner Contracts and Our Project Coordination Packages, they deliver fully customised homes or developments that meet or exceed New Zealand Building Code (NZBC) standards and local consenting requirements.

Build your dream home with TaylorMade’s flexible, customisable, and affordable kitset packages, seamlessly paired with trusted construction partner contract packages and our expert project coordination service for a stress-free experience.

Kitset homes are particularly well-suited for out-of-town rural builds where site conditions and remote proximity pose significant challenges to traditional construction methods. In these isolated locations, factors such as narrow, winding roads, rugged terrain, or limited access for heavy machinery make it impractical or prohibitively expensive to transport fully assembled transportable homes or large modular sections. Kitset solutions address this by delivering pre-cut, prefabricated components in compact, manageable shipments that can be hauled by standard vehicles, allowing for on-site assembly by local builders or even homeowners themselves. This approach not only minimises logistical hurdles and reduces transportation costs but also offers flexibility to adapt the build to the unique topography and environmental constraints of rural sites, ensuring a more feasible and cost-effective path.
