How our step-by-step process works
Here’s how we turn your vision into reality, with no costs until you’re ready to commence Stage 2!

Stage 1: Defining and cost-estimating your project
Time frame: This process takes approx 2-4 weeks.
Project consultation: We discuss your needs—size, budget, and timeline and define the scope of the project.
TaylorMade Project Proposal (TPP): Once the project is defined, we provide a site-specific cost breakdown for your entire project, including the home or building, consents, delivery, infrastructure, connections, decks, and more. Suitable for finance/funding applications.

Stage 2: Site, concept, feasibility & documentation
Timeframe: This stage can take from 4-12 weeks.
Site, concept and feasibility package: For $3,000, we create a draft site and location plan, develop concept plans showing infrastructure connections, boundaries etc, and check feasibility against local council district plan restrictions to ensure compliance, for your chosen plan.
Shovel-ready documentation package: We engage professionals to complete a geotech report, foundation design, survey datum peg, prepare documentation ready for building consent submission. Packages from $9,000
Project management services: Choose between going it alone, engaging TaylorMade Housing Solutions as a Coordinator/Advisor or engage us for the full project management services package. Services from as little as 2.5% of the project cost.

Stage 3: Construction, infrastructure & onsite works
Timeframe: The duration of this stage entirely depends on the size and scope of the project - generally 8-16 weeks
Once all details are confirmed including any chosen options, upgrades, colours etc, Building Consent is applied for, house deposits paid, tradesmen and suppliers engaged along with all the selected on-site works.

Stage 4: Completion, sign-off and move in.
